Modeling tools, both analytical and numerical, can assist with addressing complex surface and ground water issues, as well as provide visual representations of hard-to-understand flow and water quality issues.  Flow models can encompass solely surface water regimes, solely ground water regimes, and/or hydraulically-interactive surface and ground water regimes.  They can also encompass 3-dimensional numerical models to provide greater clarity of understanding of complex ground water flow and water quality issues.  Visualization of contaminant transport can also greatly enhance depictions of ground water movement of contaminants and progress in remediation efforts when provided in 3-D models. Depending on the scope of the issue, LWS' team of experts can provide guidance to the appropriate modeling tool on a case-by-case basis.
