100-Year Floodplain Delineation At Carlsbad, New Mexico:
HEC-2 modeling was used to delineate the 100-year floodplain for a new subdivision in Carlsbad, New Mexico to meets the requirements to maintain a development buffer outside the area of inundation.
100-Year Floodplain Delineation For The San Luis Gold Mine:
A watershed characterization was developed on Rito Seco so that 100-year floodplain limits could be delineated for the mining project to evaluate placement a mine facilities. The results of this analysis were utilized in the mine permitting process to demonstrate that all mine facilities would be outside the 100-year floodplain.
