Judy Schenk, Ph.D. has joined Lytle Water Solutions as a Senior Project Manager. Dr. Schenk is a hydrogeologist with over 30 years of groundwater modeling experience working in private consulting and in federal agencies. Dr. Schenk has modeled complex regional groundwater systems and has expertise in model evaluation, uncertainty analysis, and multi-model analysis.
Dr. Schenk was the lead modeler for the initial San Luis Valley, Colorado regional numerical groundwater model developed for the Rio Grande Decision Support Systems (RGDSS). She also wrote the program StatePP used for Colorado Decision Support Systems (CDSS) groundwater models. StatePP integrates data from various sources to create MODFLOW input files for well pumping, recharge, stream-flow routing, and evapotranspiration. Dr. Schenk has programmed other modules for earlier versions of MODFLOW, including an adit module used to simulate plugging of the Reynolds adit at the Summitville Mine site in Colorado, and a streamflow routing package that included a trapezoidal channel geometry.
Dr. Schenk will be providing senior groundwater modeling expertise on various LWS projects and she can be reached at 303-350-4090 or by email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
